Mike Lazaridis, president and founder of Research in Motion (RIM), headquartered in Canada, using video to convey the request message apology to millions of BlackBerry users around the world that disrupted access to email and the message of his fuel.
The company said its services in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and central Indiatowards normal, while the interference is still happening in the United States and Canadawho are the first area have been affected, as well as Latin America.
"Since launching BlackBerry in 1999, is my goal to provide a reliable instantaneouscommunication around the world. We can not achieve that goal this week," Lazaridis saidin his video message via RIM's website.
Speaking on the fourth day of disruption to the BlackBerry as a result of technical errorsearly, he said, "I apologize for the interruption of service during this week. We have madea lot of you are disappointed."
Lazaridis added: "I'd love to give you a time frame to recover the full service around the world, but I can not confirm it for now. For those of you who are disadvantaged, I know this is very disappointing."
RIM stated that a technical error on the first messaging system in their networks has lead to some problems that complicate bsar than 70 million customers worldwide.
